Remembry — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Remembry mobile application and related services ("Remembry", "the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions? Email support@remembry.xyz.

1. Your account

You need an account to use Remembry. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the app.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Remembry for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Remembry is free to use with certain limits. Some features (together, "Premium") are offered through an auto-renewable subscription purchased inside the app. The following terms apply to those subscriptions:

• Billing. Payment is charged to your app store account (Apple ID or Google account) when you confirm the purchase.
• Price and period. The subscription name, length (for example, monthly or yearly), and price are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
• Auto-renewal. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your app store account settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by the app store, and refunds are subject to that store's policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.

4. AI features and fair use

Remembry uses AI to help identify items from photos, suggest details, and build lists. Free accounts have a monthly allowance of AI actions; Premium raises this to a generous annual fair-use limit. AI output is a convenience and may be inaccurate or incomplete — always review it before relying on it. We may adjust limits over time to keep the service sustainable.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — item details, photos, notes, lists, and records. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display that content back to you (and to members of any home or loan you choose to share it with) and to operate the app. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it.

6. Sharing, homes, and lending

Some features let you share an inventory with roommates or household members, or lend and borrow items with nearby neighbors. When you share or lend, the relevant content becomes visible to the people you share with, as described in the app and in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your interactions and any handoffs with other people; Remembry is a tool to coordinate them, not a party to them.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive;
• upload content that infringes others' rights or violates any law;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
• misuse the neighborhood or sharing features to harass or deceive others.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Listings, requests, photos and messages that are hateful, sexual, illegal, threatening, or that harass another person are not permitted anywhere in Remembry.

How this is enforced:

• Any user-generated content can be reported from the content itself, or by emailing support@remembry.xyz.
• Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content reported by more than one person — or once by anyone, where the report alleges illegal or sexual material — is removed automatically pending that review.
• Any user can block another user. Blocking is mutual: neither party will see the other's listings or requests, and neither can contact the other.
• Accounts that post objectionable content or abuse others may be suspended or terminated without notice.

8. Disclaimers

Remembry is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions, values, or reminders will be accurate. Remembry is not a substitute for professional, legal, insurance, or financial advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remembry and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or property, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using Remembry and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Certain provisions (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
